Never Letting Go

I think of my relationship ("walk") with God as wave. It has its ups and downs. It has its thrills and its disappointments. But the greatest part, just like a wave, He will not let me go.

I've gone through a lot of "crap" in my life. I lot of unpleasant moments, and a lot of disappointments. No question about it...If I looked at how "good" of a follower I was, I should have realized, I wasn't really following. I should have just done what I wanted to, because that is what I was doing anyway. However, I didn't give up. I kept coming back to Christ like a dog with his tail between his legs, and amazingly, He never let go of me. The one thing I have learned about my journey with Christ, is that he simply never lets go. You can try. You can give up. You can turn away. However, you can't go through a week in your life, and not be reminded of the love that Christ gives.

Most people who know me, know I am not the biggest "modern worship" fan. However, they're are a few songs/artist out there creating what we call "worship songs". One of them is Matt Redman. He wrote a song a while ago called "Even Though I Walk". Check out the song here. The song praises the fact that His love does not let go. No matter where we are on our walk....He never will let go of you and I. I know from experience. Til I write again....
